There are some activites that the practice is not contracted to provide under the NHS eg letters from your GP, insurance/medical reports, third party requests (DLA/PIP), private insurance, detailed sick notes. The practice charges a fee for these activities, which are in line with BMA recommendations.
You MUST allow 10 working days for the completion of request. The practice is unable to complete requests sooner than this as we must prioritise our core NHS responsibilities.
